Erin! Nate and I were on Zanzibar for Christmas, and we quickly learned that that island has been taken over by vacationing Italians - they own many of the resorts and dive shops, etc., and even the Maasai guys who sell trinkets on the beach speak Italian! People were as likely to say 'ciao' as 'hello' or 'jambo' there. So I was thinking of you when we learned how to say Buona Natale!
